Millennial woman goes entire pregnancy without using the term “earthside” on social media

MAANT can officially confirm that a 29-year-old Australian woman has officially gone her entire full-term pregnancy and post-partum stage without using the term “earthside” in her social media captions once. In a feat that hasn’t been recorded since the pretentious term started being used regarding birth in the 2010s, Shona from Aveley is being lauded as a “genuine hero” and “actually likeable during pregnancy” by members of her Instagram following today.

When asked about her decision not to buy in to the popular pregnancy discourse, Shona stated that it just didn’t feel right. “Honestly, even when I was single, I found the term almost as nauseating as my first trimester. My vagina is not a portal to outer space.”

The first-time mum has also been commended for not posting a monthly update on her daughter’s age.
